Dr. Bernier is founder of Master Builder Ministries, which includes Master Builder Christian Church where he is Senior Pastor of English and Portuguese congregations and East Gate Christian Academy, a K4-12 school. Formerly the Master Builder Institute of Leadership Development (MBILD), Dr. Bernier has now incorporated Master Builder Christian International University to better serve the training, educating, and equipping of pastors and leaders.  He is also the past president of MTEE (Ministry to Educate and Equip), a mission organization serving many countries in Eastern Europe.  Prior to being president of MTEE, Dr. Bernier had served on multiple trips to Europe to train leaders in masters and doctoral programs.

A former contractor, Dr. Bernier has turned his building sense into caring for God's spiritual house and leads seminars across the country and internationally, training pastors and leaders.  In all his work, he emphasizes a biblical worldview, character, education, church administration, and leadership.  MBCIU is the next step forward in the advancement of these goals, and his passion for seeing the church established.
