Being connected with God, and growing in faith will always lead to a desire to serve others. This is because the closer we grow to Jesus, the more we begin to look at others as He did – with love and compassion. As a matter of fact, this is how we are known as authentic followers of Jesus – by our love for one another (John 13:34-35). This is the kind of church Master Builder Christian Church wants to be.

Jesus perfectly demonstrated what authentic love looks like – unconditional and sacrificial. He loves us no matter what, and He was willing to lay down His life to reconcile us to God – the ultimate loving act. Jesus calls us to follow Him and care for others as well. He teaches us, “Whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers, you did for me” (Matthew 25:34-40).

Can God Really Use Me?

Yes! The Bible teaches that every member of God’s church is equipped and called to serve. This is why at Master Builder Christian Church we believe people are ministers. We have all been given special gifts by God to equip and empower us to serve in a unique way. Discovering these gifts and applying them is the key to fulfilling service. And there are plenty of places here to serve our church community that really makes a direct impact on people’s lives. You have special God-given gifts that give you a unique “SHAPE” to serve others in practical ways:

How do I discover my SHAPE for serving?
